For information,

if the theme file contains a dot, it isn't well loaded.
(looks like extension extraction from filename is broken ?)

Steps:

• duplicate any theme file
• rename it to something with a dot ( ex: new.Default.theme.xml )

Yes it was by design to check for first left dot but I think I can re-design it better
