    Forum Server maintenance

Community forum is under heavy brute force attack.

The attack is going on since many weeks day and night with some pauses here and there.
Some of the IP doing the attack:
    http://www.ip-tracker.org/locator/ip...58.251.146.174
    http://www.ip-tracker.org/locator/ip...p=122.13.2.164
    http://www.ip-tracker.org/locator/ip...p=194.28.71.50
    http://www.ip-tracker.org/locator/ip...p=46.16.33.177
    ...
and there are hundreds of others

The attack is still going on and I cannot do too much to stop it.
In any case it is quite inoffensive because they are trying banal usernames while this server has a very strong user name setup.

Anyway, in the meantime a disk on a raid 1 partition decided to went down too.
Tomorrow morning my provider will change the hard disk in failure.
There should not be down time but maybe I will reboot the server a couple of time.

    Will see tomorrow.

    Ciao
    Eros

OK operations required more time than expected and had a down of few hours.
It was not possible to rebuild the array so provider installed 2 new HD and restored the situation.

I'm finishing to setup some details, maybe there will be some more server restart.

    That really sucks Eros!

Maybe you should change the name to ThickBasic and the hackers won't try so hard.

Thanks for all your efforts keeping the project site going.
