Dear all,
today is a special day for the community. Why? Thanks to very open minded approach at the company, ThinBASIC is now registered as tool internally used at AVG Technologies, developers of AVG AntiVirus, AVG CloudCare and other products many of you use.
Okay, but what does it mean? We should no longer be bothered by false positives during thinBasic installation and most importantly - no more scary false positives when distributing the bundled EXEs to your users and customers.
Every new release, even the Beta ones, will now be given a special treatment to make sure everything goes smooth.
I am very happy to see this happen, I hope you will appreciate it as well.
This was one of the things which made me nervous in the past, and I am very, very happy to have this solved once and forever
Petr

Dear Petr,
thanks a lot for this great news.
One of the worst situation for a software is to fall into suspicious area of antivirus.
It is hard than to go out from there and return credible.
I imagine your intervention on this was not less than 100%
So thanks, thanks, thanks.
