    Very impressive...

    The best real time facial animation I have seen to date can be seen in game "L.A.Noire", the capture of performance goes as far as motion capturing even... tongue. It is for a reason, as a detective you have to read in the face of characters to notice any sign of lie, fear and so on.

    And here something funny - mistakes during the creation, captured and replayed in game engine:


    The shaders in the game are not very impressive, but the animation itself is in some aspects maybe even more faithful than the one from Activision demo.
