Windows Key Revealer

Ever wondered what your windows key is (without looking at the side of your pc or under your laptop) well wonder no more.

Ive only had time to test on XP, I dont think it will work on vista it depends on how Eros handles the registry it needs

Dont worry if your key does not match the sticker a lot of companies use VLK when they make the computers.

Update 10-Apr-09 - removed script and used bundle as suggested until I cleanup the script for release.

so I can save my win-key-number for my laptop in a thinbasic file

...and can you check please if your example is running with new 1.7.8.0 beta??? I have got an error message... your script is encrypted... why you are obfuscating your script???

"bill" won't be angry about you...

I cannot test it as: "Obfuscated script not valid, error code 1200." I know, every thinbasic release has its own obfuscating methods...

Obfuscated scripts are valid only for a specific thinBasic version because version number is part of the dynamic key used to obfuscate the script. If it is created with 1.7.7.0 it cannot be executed with 1.7.8.0

Maybe better to post a bundled exe instead of obfuscated script.

Update version in first post.

@Petr - it is stored in the registry but you have to decode it.

if anyone can confirm the installation data is correct I would appreciate it.
