Animation Layer for bones and UV coordinates

    Hi Petr,

as I said, I would like to see animation layers that could be handled seperately.

Also it would be great if we could animate UV coordinates in an easy way. Could be usefull for tanktracks or engine glowing.

    Cheers
    Michael

    Hi Mike,

    added on the list

UVs can be manipulated using TBGL_m15GetVertexTexXY / TBGL_m15SetVertexTexXY, will find easier way to do it.
Tanktracks sound like a good idea, but I cannot imagine much the engine glow, could you give more detail on that?

    Petr,

I now that I can modify the UV manually with the commands you listed. But as you are working on animation features, I tihnk it would be cool if even the UV's could be animated. And this then be played back. Engine glow... I attached a sample image. The yellow ring are surpose to be the UV coordinates. Over the time the get changed. So the visible texture on the model changes too.

    Thanks Mike,

so instead of sizing a quad it would mean changing coordinates, smart!

    Thanks a lot,

    Mike,

is it ok that UV animation bones would be defined same way as classic bones, or do you prefer other way?

    Thanks,

I didn't ment to have bones for uv-coordinates. What ever you think is better for TBGL is fine with me.
I so far away from all this animation stuff, seems like ages when I worked on it.
