Which version of BASS is the module based on?

Hi folks,

which version of the BASS sound library is the module based on?

The bass.dll supplied is 2.3.0.1 so I guess that one. :-\

Yes Abraxas is right, we release with 2.3.0.1

Current BASS.DLL is 2.3.0.3 as seen in http://www.un4seen.com/bass.html

Also consider that TBASS module just wrap very few functionalities of BASS.DLL
We can work on it if needed, just let me know what are you in need of.

In the meantime I will try to see if any problem to upgrade using 2.3.0.3 version.

Thanks for the info. Because not everything was supported via the module, I thought it was a much older version. I will let you know if I need something.

In general I think we can support all the BASS functions that do not need callbacks because we cannot link to script functions. Anyhow, let me know what you need and I will see what I can do.

I tested BASS.DLL version 2.3.0.3 and seems working fine so next thinBasic preview version will be shipped with it.

Perhaps if Mikes got time he could submit some updates to the Tbass section of the help files, Information seems a bit sparse and Eros is busy building nests at the moment.

What do you think Mike?

Help material: so important and so long to setup !

Post moved into new specific TBASS forum. More new features can be implemented in this wrapper module.
