But I'm sure you can use a lot of IDE's out there. The command line options for FPC are very easy to figure out.

They also have Lazarus bundled sometimes with things like glscene, this makes it very very nice to get up and running so easilly, but Lazarus is really really nice!
This is not the new release of free pascal though, but if you want to try out glscene, it is great and glscene is really neat.

Were you able to compile it with lazarus? I got a newer version and could not compile it out of the box.
