    Hi Mike,

friend passed me this link too but it seems it might not be free give away in the end, see this:
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/4974662
You are only legally entitled to download and install with that serial number if you have a valid license to the product!
It is quite strange, not sure what to think about it. Funny is that I downloaded PS, registered, then realised things are not free, so uninstalled again. I hope they will not take any legal actions against persons like me who got confused too.

I was happy I will finally have Photoshop and ... it seems I will have to keep throwing coins into piggie for a while again

it works for me?? I am using Windows 7 pro 64 bit, the installer complained but that could be due to windows installing updates. The installer is hard wired to only install on specific windows installations.

I didn't register but I did hard code the serial number and user/company names in the installer.

    Hi,

it installed and worked okay, that is not the issue
The problem is that it might not be "free for everyone" as many sites reported.

It does seem your correct but the issue seems to be whether a free licensed product counts or even a trial product?

I will remove the links from my first post until it is cleared up.
