Hi folks,

the reason I'm a little quite here is that I was looking into another basic programming language for IPhone development. That little trip was rather dissapointing so I decided to use Objective-C now for it. I need to have an app inside the AppleStore by the beginning of december so my time is limited.

Does anyone here have experience with Iphone development and would like to share it?

Michael

P.S.: Before you wonder, no I am not leaving. I'm just very busy till december but I will allways come by to see what is going on and if anything is needed.

Apple does not allow any form of programming language on the Iphone (App store its in the terms), from my understanding unless you jail break your phone your not allowed.

No language ON the iphone, just to code for the Iphone.

Besides XCode itself there are 2 language alternatives right now. GlBasic and a toolset called XMLVM which transfers JAVA or .NET languages to IPhone code. Both just create source code. You still need XCode to compile the actual project. And no need to jailbrake anything. It is totally comform to the rules of Apple.
