hi all :)

for all who love explosions, tornados, waving clothes, sea breaking waves or vulcan explosions... will find this page interesting... and can catch new graphic knowledge / power about physX by nvidia... for making special effects with their brand new graphic cards (here: geforce graphic cards fans!), some guys already know it perhaps, I have found it last night by a german computer magazine (c't) and thought it's perhaps good and useful.. to place it here and to have a closer look at this site...

there is also an sdk (ca. 56 mb filesize!!!) to check it with curiosity ;)

unfortunately I cannot use the new physX with my old locomotive... must howling like a wolf ;)

best regards, Lionheart

Hi Frank,

I am afraid PhysX is C++ only, maybe I confuse it with something else but I am 90% sure.
So one way to bring this to ThinBasic would be creating module in C++.

PhysX is very powerful, but from surficial check, Havoc and Bullet does seem to look similarly powerful.

I have 3D card with PhysX hardware acceleration, the difference in speed comparing to CPU is ... dramatic.
