Congrats for today Space Shuttle lift off.

For the first time I followed in real thanks to http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/22886841#30502733
Really very exciting also following all other info from same web site

Here in Italy we are lucky if the news spend 30 seconds to talk about scientific info. All our tv channels are too much concentrated on entertainment, girls, politics and important things like that. Fortunately there is Internet.

I just listened to a Radio show last week where they talked about the upcoming mission. They had to develop so many special tools for this mission, something like 150 unique new tools. The reason, the part of the Hubble they are going to service was never designed to be serviced. So it was screwed in with locking solution too, so that it would not come loose over time. This of course is going to be really tough to open and work with in space. They plan 5 spacewalks in 11 days, so that is a really hectic schedule. I hope they can pull this mission off, they sure have their work cut out for them!
