Where I've been...

You're probably wondering where I've been since January 23rd, so I'll tell you. :?

After I made this post here (http://community.thinbasic.com/index.php?topic=2396.msg18164#msg18164), the power supply for my laptop computer completely failed, leaving me with only 10 minutes battery power.

I found a shop about 5 miles away where I could get a new adaptor from but sadly they were out of stock. :(

Early this morning I went out & managed to get one & so far my computer seems to be working fine. :escribe:

I experienced this problem some time ago too.

Glad you are back. I feel with you. I had the same experience, but could only get a power supply, that was a little short on power. :) So I had to switch everything off that was possible and then I could use the notebook. Luckly the fixing of the former powersupply took only 14 days. :shock:

Funny was the talk in the shop if the damage was covered through the warranty. The shop guy wanted to tell me that the power supply is not part of the notebook, it is an extension. RIGHT. On a notebook, the power supply is an extra! I really had a good tiem discussing this with the guy. At the end I got my warranty for it. :D
