Hi Eros,

I have encountered this BASIC while seeking for programming language usable on my Windows CE 2.0 device.

There is another smallBasic on sourceforge, which has nothing to do with this one, I think this will make some people really confused :)

I think dependency on .NET is something I will not be able to accept for some years.

Did you managed to display "Getting started guide"? It GPFs my Acrobat Reader.

I've encountered no problems using the 'Getting Started guide'. I use Foxit Reader (http://www.foxitsoftware.com/).

No problem here with Acrobat reader.

Attention: recently there were a set of updates from Adobe. They also updated their auto update software and in some cases some PC can get stucked for a while trying to download latest Acrobat version. Be sure to update it maybe manually.

No problems for me with Acrobat Standard V7

Hi,

I updated Acrobat Reader to v9 and it works now, I had older v6 release.
I have to checkout FoxIt, I hear about it from too many people in last time :)

It seems SmallBasic does not feature ElseIf, it is detail, but I am used a lot to this branching feature.

I will have a play with this tonight seeing as my phone company has cut my landline off when they were upgrading the exchange (IDIOTS) and cant reconnect me until tomorrow. Luckly I have my new work mobile phone which has 3G some I can connect with that but only having 250MB a month I better keep it short.

I will let you know my thoughts when I have played.
