Hi folks,

maybe you guys stumble over them in the internet. For days I'm searching now for blueprints or sketches that I can use to create models of ships from the napoleon era. If you have any links, I would be happy to follow them.

Thanks
Michael

Nice first link. Not really what I'm searching for but the side views of the ships are good too.

Thanks Petr!

I this link is a gold mine for the low poly job I wanna do: http://shipmodeling.uw.hu/

Today I was playing Age of Sails 2 again. Got my ass kicked but I know what I wanna work on the next weeks and months ;)

Hey guys, do you think that this little low poly model could look like the HMS Bellona at the end?

Btw. 326 polys so far.

Sure looks like it is already well on its way to looking like it Mike. Are you using Hexagon for your modeling?

Great job :o,

it really looks promising, I cannot believe it is just 326 polys, the shading makes it look really smooth.
Nice site, good to refresh knowledge of azbuka :D

Of course Kent. There is no other modeling tool that I am so familiar with like Hexagon.

Yes, but I think it will turn out around 1000 poly which I would be happy too. Is azbuka the language they talk on that site?

Does anyone have information about height of mast and width of the mast poles where the sails are connected to? Right now I'm just guessing. I mean it will be a low poly ship model but I would like to be at least a little bit in scale. ;) Next thing will be some sails.
