hi all...

I have tried to make my first example with using a texture bmp for another tbgl example I am working on it and have included here an own little bmp... ('effect-box' bmp)...

a) the nehe-lesson 8 issue works fine...

b) my issue is very slow... and

c) I have to push down two times the "F" button to get the texture... (you can use also "B" and "L" Buttons) to filter the texture...

why... sorry, but I have no experience until today with texture mapping... on objects...

d) perhaps somebody has a very easy to understand exercise for me how to adept a texture into a scene... I have tried it with tbgl entity with dialogs, but without success...

Hi Frank,

the problem can be your texture is 124x124.
Better to use power of two sizes, like 128x128.

! Yes... :) have scaled it to 128x128... and it runs...

hi all :)

- ... some days ago I have tried this example with texture and logo, this one is new and I have updated my graphic driver from nvidia ;D

- I have changed the nehe lesson 8 again with my new 'lionhearts effect box thinbasic' logo :) - must laugh... now it works very fine...

what graphic card do you have?

answer: a very old nvidia geforce4 440 mx :)

Hi Frank,

works fine!
But again it is not FPS synced, so when running on 900FPS it rotates so fast I cannot watch it :D
