Hi folks,
please vote on the dimensions for the game. Should it be a 2D game, a 3D one or maybe a 2.5D game(mostly used for adventure games)
I vote for 3D.

Hi Mike,
good question. It is a bit hard to guess right dimensions without game type in mind now, but I am voting for 3D graphics (we can always use different camera view to make it look 2D).
2,5D is very tempting, especially after I have seen your friends horror game ... but I gues it would mean too much work for relatively short time.
P.S. How is called Atlantis or Myst like sphere mapping of scene?

I have no clue. Yes, the artwork for a 2.5D game alone would take a long time.

I like and prefer a 3d game :D
not so serious: and a nice comicstyle, but not for this potential new game ;-)

I voted 3D as I am more familiar with it. But I would also love to learn 2D and 2.5D sometime too. Maybe future projects if 3D wins this one.
