Hi,

maybe old news, maybe you have seen it already, but new trailer of id software "Rage" looks really nice.
Current work in progress version runs in OpenGL on PC & Mac and on DirectX on XBOX 360, on PS3 it might be OpenGL ES, but I am not sure.

What is important - the game does not use DirectX10 / OpenGL 3.0 ( and will not ), but it still looks very impressive I think.
Have a look:

To me it doesn't make sence to chase the latest and newest technology as the hardware support is not at a stage where you can easily say that it will run for all and everything. With good media and clever programming you can still do everything these days.

The game looks good, it reminds me of the Mad Max film. :)

If you look on YouTube there are some good videos which compare DirectX9 to DirectX10.

Petr, loving Mad Max movies and the look and feel of those type of movies, Cherry 2000 is another one I recommend, neat movie.(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cherry_2000)
I can't wait to play this game!

Thanks for the links!!
