Hi,

first book from the well known mini series "GPU Gems" is available for free.
It is dedicated mostly to various practises in graphic programming.

It comes as HTML, but I think it is still very nice oportunity to check what is it all about.

Jump here (http://developer.download.nvidia.com/books/HTML/gpugems/gpugems_copyrightpg.html)

On the right side you have a "Contents" you can click to browse through the book.
Each chapter has lot of hyperlink references, so if you have time to spare...

Bye,
Petr

Thanks for the links. the books contains valuable scientific info about many topics. i have noticed the chapter about the stereograms:
https://developer.nvidia.com/gpugems/gpugems/part-vi-beyond-triangles/chapter-41-real-time-stereograms
also about perlin noise:
https://developer.nvidia.com/gpugems/gpugems/part-i-natural-effects/chapter-5-implementing-improved-perlin-noise
there is a code for the stereograms with exe also.
i never can see the hidden image in the stereograms, now it is impossible, we need healthy 2 eyes working to see the stereograms. but there is a nice tool here: https://www.dfstudios.co.uk/software/stereogram-viewer/
can decipher the stereograms and show you the hidden image.
there is nice introduction:
http://www.garybeene.com/stereo/index.htm
http://www.garybeene.com/stereo/rds-masks.htm some Stereogram Depth Mask

also it is possible to decode with photoshop, i have tried it:
https://georgik.rocks/how-to-decode-stereogram-by-photoshop/

in short the books is very valuable
