Hi all.

New thinBasic preview version 1.6.0.3 just released.
Changes:

possibly fix thinAir Vista GPF.
Also a trace log file is deleted/created in \thinBasic\thinAir\ directory at every thinAir execution even if Trace Log flag in options is set to off. This should help us to address more info in case there are still problems. Some startup areas have now more details into the trace log. When all problems will be fixed we will change back to optional trace log
new TBEM (thinBasic Event Manager) module from Michael is now integrated into thinBasic release. I see a bright future for this module and also many improvements. Stay tuned.
also added all recent fixes and features
from now on, every release will have version incremented

Regards
thinBasic Team

Just updated preview version again.

Petr noted a C"ONSOLE_PRINTAT" statement left by my mistake in script:
\thinBasic\SampleScripts\TBEM\BellStrikes12\BellStrikes12.tbasic

If you already downloaded version 1.6.0.3 and do not want to downaload it again, just remove the wrong line in the mentioned script.

Sorry.

I'm interested if thinAir editor still crash under Vista when loading scripts both from inside thinAir or from shell LeftMouseClick + Edit
Hopefully, we should have fixed this problem.

Thanks

Sorry, I should have told you when I first downloaded it. ;)

It works fine, I've tried opening several files by right-clicking them & they've all opened without thinAir crashing. :)

ThinAir seems to be a lot more stable.

Thanks Eros,

new version is perfect.
Last Thursday friend tried thinBASIC 1.6.0.2 on Vistas, and right click/Edit did not worked, so great news it works now!

This new version contains important TBGL fix on deleting entities, so recommended very much :-[

Thanks,
Petr

Thanks.
;D I'm very happy about that.

We did "immense" debugging session to find those problems.

Definitely it seems Vista is much much more sensible than XP bacause bugs were there since a lot of time but XP supported them without any problem.
I prefer Vista on this side: better to have a GPF to fix than have a bug not handled that can comes out at any time.

Ciao
Eros

Petr, :'(
Hope your frind will retry this new version ;)

Thanks guys for the new release. I will test thinAIR intensively of course once I have the badroom cleaned up from the mess I did when I sand down the heater. And after I painted it newly. Long night today. :)
