Hi all,
how to do fullscreen glow you could see on TBGL website tutorial.
But in most cases you need to make glow just some objects. I promised sample some ... longer time ago, so here it comes :)
To get just partial glow, you can render the wanted objects as normal, and those to not have a glow as black ones. They still keep depth mask functionality, but keep sharp look.
I prepaired a very very basic "forrest" demo. Trees are billboards from ShareCG (http://www.sharecg.com/v/7437/texture/tree-map-with-alpha) ( dicovered that site today :) ).
What you should see glowing - stars, moon, and leafs ( to see them go deeper to forrest ).
Ground and trees should not glow at all ( but can be covered by "halo" from glowing things ).
Hope you will like it,
Petr
