Very amazing! Now wide screens seem like ancient... ;D
Anyhow, I am a big fan of 3D Monitors (http://youtube.com/watch?v=M-TPxytihwI&feature=related), I can't wait to buy one when available to consumers.

Very exciting new technologies, standard monitors seem very conventional now, but we should stick to 2008 for the moment. sigh ::) ;D
The curved monitor is said to be out later in the year, that will be something to see in the stores!
I'd love to see that new 150" plasma on display somewhere too. The photos of it look amazing compared to last years biggest display!

Just wanted to post this news here :)
It is fantastic, more natural when curved this way.
Only negative factor I see on it is just 900 pixels vertically, rest of parameters is pure dream!
Cocoflop, 3D monitors look very interesting to me, I read lot of articles on it, but never seen it in action.
Did you get any chance to see it on your own eyes?
Thanks,
Petr

Unfortunately I have not seen any, but I do read that the overall depth could not overcome 3-7 cm (forget the in-front-of-your-face experience), yet 3D display still remains a prototype until the technology has matured and hardware have becomes even more powerful.

Hi,
I think it should be not so performance critical for graphic cards for example.
Well, I think it would cut the performance to half :D in worst case ( one image per eye ).
For video it could put some extra requirements on speed of streaming from HDD ( why someone does not come with more modern and less fragile concept for this device :'( )
If you like stereoscopic illusions, then you can try one of the first TBGL website scripts in slightly modernised code, see attachement.
Bye,
Petr
Nice Demo Petr, I need to find my red and blue glasses, but it already looks 3d so well even in normal vision.
