Thanks guys.

Petr: No problem. I thought you wouldn't mind.

Eros: Nice pic in your profile. You don't look italian to me. Maybe it is the hat.

No, I do not look like a tipical Italian at all.
I have very white skin, no hair (I shave my head almost every 3 days) and blue eyes. I'm more north Europe like.

Welcome to your New Internet Home Mike, looks nice with the Stinky Bug Wireframe.

Eros nice picture, I agree. I will put one up once I get a picture of me that captures what I look like.
Mike your picture is very nice too.

I decided to put my picture too, as Mike did since the beginning.
I think it makes more "human" and more warm this place if we can see each other.

Ciao

Roberto, I'm looking forward to it. :)

"Go to the hairdresser" is past since a long time for me. Once in a while I ask my wife to do me a "hairjob". :D She uses the machine on 1, so it is nice and short. The great thing is that you don't have to deal with messy hair in the morning. I don't miss it at all.

One time it was kinda funny. My wife was cutting my hair and after half a head done, the machine decided to quit. It was a funny picture, me wearing a wool hat in the middle of the summer, 32 degrees out there, going to the hair dresser. The lady at the salon had a blast. ;D

For me is the same with one difference, my wife uses the machine on 2.

Ciao,

;D
I passed that point some years ago when I decided to 100% shave my head.
At first it was very strange. Now it is normal for me to shave every few days.
I will try to find a picture I like but without the hat.

On the 13th of may 2000 this happened. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S52p2AMISFk&mode=related&search= I was there only 30 minutes before the blast and stoot in the crowd for 5 minutes and left (that saved my life). Seven years later a whole new part of the city has been rebuild. My wife and I build a new home at the location.

I've never seen anything like that. To see such massive explosions after such a long time apart with so many fireworks going off.
Did the guy taking the video survive? And they were pretty far away too. incredible. Lucky thing you left, that would be one of those things it would be hard to leave as you think you are a safe distance away viewing.

Holy cow. I saw this on the news, but no wonder they didn't let the people into the area after everythign was gone. It looked like an attack in WW2. :-[

Petr Schreiber

If it would be in the game,

I would say "cool fx", but as it was real ... quite scary.
Good you managed to leave before the hell started.

Also in Italy happened something very similar but fortunately factory was out of the town. Some people died, they were the owner and some relatives.
Usually specific bunker must be in place to handle fireworks. And they must be located far away from any civilian area. But, you know, rules are respected only after something bad happen.

Anyhow, happy you are here to remember it even if, I suppose, with a broken heart.

Thank you guys for the reactions.

@Kryton9. We ordinary people think that there was also "other" stuff present but the government denied that. The reporter was a young guy and survived. A save distance was more than a 1 mile. Concrete parts were found in the inner city 1 mile away.
@Michael. Yes, just like WW2, we could not believe our eyes.
@Psch. Yes, my wife and I were at home, 250 meter away from it.
@Eros. Yes, first there must be happen some disaster before they change the rules.

I'm glad it is all behind us. The whole areay has been rebuild with a very, very beautiful new district in town and it won the "Pyramid" price. That's were the film is about and we are looking now to the future. :D

After this experience I must confess that I symphatize with all the people who are living in our world in danger, war and after disasters like in New Orleans, the Tjunami or flooding.

I can see the suspicions as you see the incredible period of time where fireworks are going, than an unsual fireball explosion of massive intensity, then you see fireworks going, which you would think that first explosion would have destroyed. Then of course the last insane explosion that was just off of the scales of reason. It is very suspect I would say. Usually place with such explosive content are placed out side urban areas in the country just in case of disaster like this. The first explosion I could say was the fire made to the main powder room, but the second explosion... I just don't understand.
