windows themes

I was changing my windows theme today and it occurred to me that windows must keep the data stored somewhere so that the active theme will be used when the computer is booted up.

Where are these settings kept?

I'm using XP and the Themes are stored in the following folders.

Wallpapers are stored here...
C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper

Themes are stored here...
C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes

The settings for the Theme and Icons are stored in the registry.
