For the old school amongst us Commodore International has licensed the Commodore name to a new company called Commodore Gaming, with a remit of building gaming PCs. High spec systems with a custom well made case with a large price tag but geared to performace.

Naw, this has nothing to do with the old C64 or Amiga era. It's a PC, powerful but a PC. So it doesn't appeal to me.
But the paintjob on the case looks nice. Certainly different.

I am with you on that mike, perhaps with microsoft products falling out of favour a supplier of non IBM compatable computers (you should never use the term PC) would do well again.

I think they are using the commodore name as a branding tool, hoping people would buy on the badge alone.

I like the retro design too :)
But I am not sure if it won't just disappoint Commodore witnesses with PCish internals.
...but sure two GeForces in SLI sound tasty ;)

I think it would shake the world if it came with an updated Amiga OS, a cool development environment and an API to handle modern games, to be able to run all previous Amiga Apps and a list of upcoming games provided by so and so.
Still it is nice to see the name, logo and the graphics out and about otherwise. Maybe they had to start this way and then try to bring those elements in as they have money. It is obvious they have a love for the brand and its history, so that is very nice.

I don't understand how so many cool interface type things can be done on the web relatively easily compared to desktop apps. That 3D viewer being so intuitive and clean in look and use is really something else!!
