As nice as it looks, for me it has no real value. It's a toy or can someone explain to me why this should make your life easier. I don't see it.

Mike, it is fun. On the other side, I have Beryl on my notebook, it is nice to have mutliple desktops. You can be organized and can switch from surfing to Blender, to other apps and not be minimizing and mazimizing windows. It is nice, you have to try it to see. I never got the cool flame to work on my notebook with the ATI, but I do have the cool jelly wiggle, it is neat.

Also Kiba dock is really nice.

I haven't played with Aero, but Beryle is really nice. That guy had his setup even nicer than mine is setup. Could be the graphics driver.

Windows is still easier to use, but ubuntu is getting there. But you still have to go in and still edit things at a command line or text editor to configure still too much in linux ubuntu. But they have come a long way and their goal is to make it just work as easy as can be. Just in the last 6 months I have seen tremendous progress in the releases.
