Here you can download latest release of thinBASIC ODE
Based on ODE 0.8
Last updated 01-11-2007
FIXED to work with thinBASIC 1.5.0.1
Download ODE 0.8 (http://downloads.sourceforge.net/opende/ode-win32-0.8.zip?modtime=1171190759&big_mirror=0) - this DLL is needed to run the scripts. Download is about 3.5MB but you will need just DLL from ode-0.8/lib/releasedll directory.
I can't post here DLL directly here as I would probably break the license.
ODE Wiki (http://opende.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Main_Page) - lot of useful information, with pictures :) !
I had to run it before running outside for errands. Amazing, and neat!! SO great to see those balls doing what they are doing and know that we have the power of a very popular physics engine now. Thanks Petr, I have lots to learn from your work and use it for fun things in the future.
I will go out today with a big smile on my face from ODE and Irllicht news!!

Hi,
thanks, still lot of work to understand it all :)
Bye,
Petr
Once you figure it out Petr, put it on your list of subjects to cover with voice video tutorials :)

Hi,
I need to get that device Darth Vader used to speak, then I think I will be ready ;)
... but I am writing it on my list.
Bye,
Petr
You have me so curious about your voice now. I have no problems with accents. On 3dBuzz they are having many new videos with content from providers all around the world. It helps hearing the info while being done, it is also more fun making it that way. Just try it, you will like it and we will all benefit from your talent and skills.
Then infect Eros and Roberto to Join in. Luckilly Mike, is already a masterful video maker. I enjoy his video alot. Hope to see more from you too Mike.

Kent, I will do more when the time is right. ;)
Petr, I totally forgot this was finished. In my memory it was something you started but needed to be finished. I am so sorry about that. Here you did all this work and it is finished and I didn't even use it. That will soon change. Thanks so much again.

Hi Kent,
no problem, your terrible sin is forgiven ;D
There is little problem with callbacks which ODE uses, so unlike OpenGL 2.1 headers here I am not sure if we can get 100% functionality. But I know ODE very little, so I am sure workaround will be there :)
Bye,
Petr
I read through the documentation on ODE's site and he explains well what is happening, but going from that to a working application is difficult. Also not too many tutorials on the web for it. But I am going to work on it this week. Learning to tap into the power there will really add to our projects. Thanks again!

Hi all,
there were some problems which made tB 1.4.0.1 angry ( messy translation ).
If you cannot run your ODE scripts anymore with new tB then just pick new header from first post.
Thanks and sorry,
Petr

Ok, go in the corner for 15 minutes. And after that, write 100 times on the board "I should not write buggy code!". ;D

Petr,
can I add ODE include file as standard include file into thinBasic release?
Maybe source samples too?

Hi Sandy,
could it be because you do not have ODE.DLL ?
I will attach this file to first post for you.
Thanks,
Petr
