Here is a good link to some informations about the basics of Delphi. Very usefull if you want to create extensions with Turbo Explorer for ThinBasic.

if we continue to use Delphi in school, I will visit it frequently :)

Thanks,

@Petr, from the books I glanced through yesterday at the library on Delphi, I think you will find Delphi as I am seeing it to be very powerful. C like power but with a far superior and cleaner syntax and approach. I have no idea why Delphi is not the dominate language of the world. So far it looks like it does it all with the ease of visual basic, but the power of c/c++.

OpenGl at least the basic GL stuff works right off the bat in Delphi. I pasted some of the NehE Delhi translation projects and they worked, I had only a few that gave me errors.

When you have time I would play with it for your own use in the future. I know you are in school, so might not have the time now, but a good thing you have it.

@Mike, have you done any development in 2d and 3d in Delphi as you have with IBPro?
