Command and Conquer is a game I've always loved since its start.
Here a link to the new version coming next year: http://www.ea.com/commandandconquer/theater.jsp?media=videos
And here the latest video preview: http://www.ea.com/commandandconquer/?ncc=1

Man, how did I miss this :D I played every version from the first.

I played it too almost all campaigns. Important is not to miss when it will be out :D

Seems relly fantastic. Only possible problem I see from the video is the possibility it will be too full of graphic effects, candy and battle confusion lossing some of the strategic side.

:)

Eros,

I think they know that making the game only eye-candy and nothing more would make their fans so angry they would visit their development central with Mamooth tanks :D
I wonder if this release of game is made by the same team of people as the first ones in series ???

Bye,
Petr

THanks, I never finished the games as my friends on I went on to play network play and so much fun. GOing to check out the links now, very exciting news. They have a historic package out at the stores now with all the c&c's, but I will wait for something like that to come out with the new game.

Maybe one weekend we can have a lan party and play one of the games us against the computer ai's.

Lanpartys, we do this once in a while. We are around 10-12 guys. All around 30-40. We play mostly Age of Kings, Counterstrike, some racing games and try out some new stuff. This is No maam's land then, means a lot to drink, men jokes, making fun of each other, watching movies. Hell, this is the perfect break from family life. Women are only allowed to cater that night or deliver the pizza. ;) I love my family like hell but I don't wanna miss these times.

That sounds good. I hope my system can handle it. Generals was pretty resource consuming.

I was going to download it, but if I do will not be able to work on Top Down. I already spend way too much time playing with Top Down instead of working and day dreaming of ideas.

Well, our third game could be a Top Down in command and conquer genre. Build, collect, defend and attack, probably better to come up with a new story for that type of game :)

I got it, I played it. IT IS C&C !!
I mean the old C&C spirit seems all there but with revamped graphics.

I also played a fast online game against a human. I say fast because I loose in 10 minutes :(
All seems fine. You have to register in EA to be able to play online.

So, I suggest C&C for all who loved this game in the past.

Thanks Eros, it came out here in all the weekly sales ads as the new game for the week, but it was $49. I will wait a little longer to see if the price drops or perhaps they bundle with all the c&c games. I would like to have a bundle like that as I have with starcraft.

I am so glad you liked it and it is C&C!! On my mind most times I play thinking about how cool it will be play with it again!!

49 USD would be 40Euro. But here they ask for 59 Euro, cheez. To much for a game. I will wait till it gets cheaper.
