I notice that debug options are greyed out. Are they not available?
Or do I have to activate it somehow?

Sorry but not yet available. :-[
I have had a look a ThinBasic and it has some very nice features and obviously a lot of work has gone into it. Is it still true that there is no debugging available with it or am I missing something. The single stepping, Breakpoints and watch are on the menu but are all greyed out. If there is currently no debugging available - is there any intention to implement it in the future? Sometime? I know there are some good experienced programmers that can work with limited debugging but they are few and far between, If you want new programmers to start using it then it needs these debugging tools. For once this is where Microsoft have got it right!

Ciao Jon and welcome here.
You are right, Microsoft dev products are one of the best and the best are Microsoft debuggers.
Regarding thinBasic, we are still without any debugger. It is in the to do list but we had other priorities so far.
Menu are there because we did some work in the past but not finished. At first, our idea was to develop a debugger working on tcp/ip, so able to run script on one computer and debug on another one. We are still on the same idea.
I'm not in the position to give a precise schedule about when a debugger will be developed. We have some other things to finish before it. But I can confirm a debugger is in the list. I cannot say more, I'm sorry.
You may be disappoint by this reply but it is better to be honest.
Ciao
