Hi Eros.

I downloaded last version 1.12.0 , created 3/2/2024 14:16

ThinAir is opened in my right screen, not default screen
I wanted to resize ThinAir left panel (with Code brower & Explorer tabs) , I use some long filenames.
I moved cursor to the vertical separation line between left panel and code panel. The cursor then, changes to a dble arrow, normal
I press left mouse button, oooh the cursor jumps to left screen keeping the dble arrow shape.
The vertical position is the same as it was in right screen, horizontal position is center of screen.
The left panel takes a minimal width, and no way to modify, always jumping to left screen.

If I move ThinAir window to left screen, I can change left panel width. Returning window to right screen left panel size is keeped until I try to re-modify it.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
OOOOPS: More complex ......

The cursor jumping is not only right screen, but I retested with a ThinAir window started in left default screen, near left border.
I re-tryed to modify left panel width.
Taking cursor to the separation line and mowing to the right..... It moves up to the center of screen and refuses to go more right.

It seems like you're encountering an issue with ThinAir's left panel resizing when using long filenames. The cursor jumping problem, whether in the right or left screen, is making it challenging to adjust the panel width. Consider checking if there's a specific setting or update that might address this behavior.

Sorry for that
Yes it is a mess.

Will try to fix next days at office where I have more screens attached to my computer and I can test better.

Hi Stevey

No, it's independent with filename length.

As you can read in my post I use the LAST downloadable version, and as Eros knows from me, I only post after checking on more than one PC more than one display configuration.

Eros, as we made tests with multiple screens long time ago (January 2018 ) I am ready to test ongoing version.
Currently I can test with PC with one, two, three and four screens.:rolleyes:
Let me know.

Best regards.

I've a created a test program to see if this can be a solution.
On my multi monitor computer it seems working fine

Let me know
If working fine I will try to update thinAir using this technique.

Thanks
Eros

Thanks Dany for private feedback and testing

I've recoded from the ground up a new splitter and seems working quite fine.
There are still some little defects that I will try to solve in next versions

Soon will publish thinBasic 1.12.1 version with this fix.
