Too many cooks spoil the broth. It would probably end up like FreeBasic or Linux... I think the modular way is fine - even if I have not found out yet how to create some module.
Some commercial companys with some smart lawyers could find (or even copy) some formula, method or calculation inside and claim later it's their patent...

Because it's for free and 1 billion people on this planet can not afford a legal version of windows since they would have to spent more than 2 or 3 monthly salarys.
To write code, one does not need a blueprint of the processor - just a good documentation of the language. I got the vague feeling you will just try to refresh and tune-up your sb-project up with some tB-routines. Or am I wrong? You seriously want to become a tB-author?:D
