I wouldn't worry about it too much, just because people aren't commenting it doesn't necessarily mean that they aren't interested in using it. :-)
I see thinBasic as no different than an interpretive version of C. Amazing effort but what's the point?
PASSION!

So why are you always here around?
Just to abuse my patience?

This is the forum of people respecting each other and respecting the job done whatever it is.
No one stopped you to talk about a language you like (Script Basic).
No one stopped you from posting about 3rd party library.
No one stopped you on anything when talking about tech aspects.
I will stop you if you continue to mix passionate technical posts with insult and bad judgements against thinBasic, thinBasic future, thinBasic directions, thinBasic whatever.
If you like it, use it. If you do not like it, just do not use it. Is that simple.
And more: you have one person (matthew) in this thread willing to follow you on JAPI. Respect him remaining with the topic.
This missing of respect is what has always put you into the margin.

but I wouldn't expect anyone other than a hobbyist to use it.
and what is wrong with that ?
Another point why anyone need SB with oxygen when can use directly Oxygen ?
sooooo ....?
This is just pure babeling...right John ? :D
I like thinBasic for the diversity of applications, the great documentation and the friendly helpful forum.
Quite a lot of the stuff talked about here is too unfamiliar/technical/low-level for me to follow easilly such as C, Oxygen, OpenGL, Japi,
but it is often stimulating to follow the discussions of the expert programmers.
Sometimes interesting developments are presented with impressive-looking screenshots.
If it is just a matter of downloading a tbasic file I might give it a go.
But some of these threads ( like John's JAPI and Rene's graphics ) are just too technical/cryptic (for me).
Unless it looks really really interesting I am not going to bother trying to piece together the bits needed to get a demo running.
Maybe a video clip might be a way of getting more punters to "come in to the shop"?
I might have had a go with the JAPI stuff here but spent the previous week struggling with Java (for use with NaaLaa).
Many moons ago I used to do all that compiling and linking and command line stuff with Fortran.
But now I am too old/slow/lazy.

John ...please put the pipe down :D
John,
I had downloaded ScriptBasic w/GUI. There was
no GUI, and I couldn't get ScriptBasic to work.
So, for me, you seem to be in a world all your
own.
