It was a pleasure, thank you for the compliments, but I just assembled two ideas that are not mine.

Very nice logo!

Attention: Fabrizio's face (and body) is not the one that is visible in his avatar :D

In reality Fabrizio is a collegue of mine.
His passion is (apart technology) photography.

As far as I know this is really close to the process they used to do the cover.

Thank you all for your kind responses, this is just a present to a passionated guy. I simply had the chance to put a smile on his face. nothing more than this.

I don't know if it's allowed to put an ad in the posts, so I'll avoid to put it here.

Fabrizio is ... well a great friend.

He joined us in the company I work for 1 and a half year ago.
He spent his previous 10 years working for ... (drums rolls) Microsoft taking care of many enterprise systems like Exchange, MSSql, OSs, Office in big Microsoft customers. He also worked in Redmond for some time. And now we have him with us.

He his passing us (his colleagues) a lot of knowledge about Microsoft systems. Not only pure knowledge but (what I like most) knowledge with passion.
We have make great great progress in using and taking advance of Microsoft systems. You think you know what an OS can do but when a MVP like Fabrizio shows you what as OS can really do, you have to say: I really didn't know what an OS could do. The same for quite complex systems like Exchange, MSSql, ... especially when used with big amount of data.

His passion if photography but that world is a bit hard if you want live with it.
