Maybe I am the only one in the world, but, I've never had an "out of body" experience, and, I have zero recollection of ever being abducted by aliens.

On the other hand, I did have very realistic and powerful dreams (as a child).

I am not sure what is exactly meant by out of body experience. I remember that once I dreamed that I waked up and went to breakfast, and then I waked up for real, quite confused. Not sure if that counts.

Regarding dreams, I saw quite recently very good movie called "Inception". It works with concept of dream within dream. Highly recommended, although a bit depressing.

I think you know, for instance, sometimes when a person is in the hospital, and his heart stops, and the doctors are trying to resuscitate him. The person will say that he floated up to the ceiling, and he could see his body below, and the doctors working on it. Sometimes, the person will (allegedly) even go to another location during the experience, and learn things that it would be impossible for him to know, since, his body hasn't moved.

Some people say they have similar experiences when they go to sleep at night. They will awake and rise out of their bodies, and then travel places, sometimes to alien spacecraft.

Dreams within dreams in movies, you could do the same thing with computer games. You could have a game in which you control an avatar (is that what you call your virtual character/body?). You could have the avatar play a virtual game in which he controls a second avatar, and so on, I guess, forever. It's like standing in a room with one mirror in front of you, and one mirror behind you - the nested reflections recede to infinity - all of those parallel universes - in each one another me, who mocks me by mimicking my every movement!

I have seen cartoons within cartoons, they do it on "The Simpsons", with "Itchy & Scratchy".

If I was a quintillion-aire, I wouldn't give DARPA a penny, and, if it couldn't locate its ass, I wouldn't help it to find it.

In this country, I sometimes see military aircraft in the sky, and now I'm smart enough to realize that, those aircraft have zero to do with helping me in any way whatsoever. And, absolutely, the same applies for DARPA.

Nice idea, and this approach already exists in few games, although in very elemental form. For example in the game Prey (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prey_%28video_game%29), you can make you avatar play a PacMan like game on terminal inside virtual bar. The game itself is about Aliens taking people to their ship, a coincidence :o?

I didn't mean anything bad against zak for bringing up DARPA, I just don't like DARPA. I put it in the same category as the CIA, bad for 99.999% of people, good for everyone else. DARPA offers these relatively tiny prizes. Then, it uses what people invent to help the 0.0001%.

Maybe if my life becomes easier, I will go back to sometimes seeing movies. Now, I feel disdain for them, I view them as substitutes for drugs - escapism, like cartoons for adults.

I can imagine that if they make games within games within games, etc., the challenge could be, "getting out". Once you're deeply nested, can you find your way back to the top level, to, "reality"? Or, will you remain at some level, or continue going deeper - forever? I guess another possibility is some kind of "oscillation", you get trapped, say, in levels 1993867-1993891.

Actually, I guess that could be the goal of the game, you have to make it to the bottom level of "dreamland", say, 482389726947, and then back to level 0.

In the future, you will be able to automate the construction of a game, using probability and statistical methods. Then, the construction program would make the individual levels, you would only have to decide how many levels you want there to be.

But, whether it's movies or computer games, the drawback I see is that, in either case, time is passing. After you use time doing either, you are older, and your situation, most likely, has not improved. Of course, if you are already making progress in life, and you use them as just ways to "recharge" yourself, that's a different story.

And, concerning the automation of games, the perceptive programmer will realize, that ultimately, he is programming himself into unemployment, i.e., I think programming as a livelihood will become extinct, when? - it's hard to predict.

It's relatively easy to predict that a particular event will happen, it's a lot harder to predict when it will happen, yes or no?

If you notice, today, some of the most secure jobs are those which function to eliminate the jobs of other people - computerization, mechanization.

I know you know about this, Petr, with respect to robots. At the university students work on robots, because, there is money for developing them, because, they end up making bigger profits for corporations, by eliminating employees.

Does "employee", by definition, mean a person, or, can it also mean a machine?

i thought Darpa is a company or some scientific agency not the "Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency" of course you are right Dan ,those creatures are anti humanity of course. investing billions of dollars on the misery of the human race. any agency who slave the scientists to make toys used for war is not good at all. the first time the ureka happy scientists discovered the atomic power they used it immediately to erase 2 cities from existence. the same will be for all science projects, which are made by clever people called "happy scientists --> the slaves" for the welfare of criminals in spirit.

Well, I didn't know about Fritz Haber, "the father of chemical warfare" (1868-1934), but, Charles knew.

His first wife, Clara (they married in 1901), the first woman to earn a Ph.D. at the University of Breslau, also a chemist, committed suicide in 1915 over his development of poison gases for WW1.

Their son, Hermann, born in 1902, committed suicide in 1946, over shame about his father's work.

When the Nazis came to power, first they used him, then they vilified him, because he was Jewish.

He left Germany in 1933, and died of heart failure on the way to Israel, in 1934.

Members of his extended family died in concentration camps during WW2, I guess possibly from poison gas.

One of the two children from his second marriage, became an "eminent" historian of WW1 chemical warfare, and lived until 2004.

His basic contribution to chemistry was the synthesization of nitrogen products, for instance, ammonia (NH3). For ammonia, he got the nitrogen from the air, and the hydrogen, I think from methane.

He received the Nobel prize for chemistry in 1918.

His work is still today the basis for the manufacture of agricultural fertilizers.

To me, it's obvious that as time passes, there will be less and less work for people.

Everything will become mechanized/computerized.

I think the military is working as hard as it can to eliminate people.

Which will be a better soldier, a human or a robot?

Therefore, I think capitalism is a dead end.

Capitalists will never admit it, but, their only solution for those who cannot find work, is the elimination of that group.

How would you like it if you lost your job, and, you had 30 days to find another one, or it was, bye-bye?

What is the basic difference between tribes/gangs and governments?

After you remove all the "decorations" of governments, I think the difference is, nothing.

When I was in grade school we were indoctrinated to believe that our government was wholly good, that we should be willing to die for it.

They intentionally co-mingled our government, with God - clever, yes?

It took a long time for me to see through that indoctrination.

Now, from my life experience, I think it is always best to assume that the government has the worst intentions for me.

It is better to err on the side of paranoia.

Let the the courtiers, the shills, the sheep, call me crazy.

At least so far, we can find our own information (although I bet governments are doing everything they can to stop it) on the Internet.

Never believe what the government (corporate media) says, find as much information as you can, no matter how crazy it may seem.

Then, decide for yourself.

There is no official agency that you can trust.

Each is interested only in helping itself, not in broadcasting the truth.

I wonder how often the most "crazy" theories, are the correct ones?

(The last thing any government agency wants, is for us to determine the truth about an event, and therefore to be able to act on that knowledge. (Probably, mainly because if the people knew the truth about almost any major event, many top government officials would be prosecuted.) So, besides lying, the government also uses "disinformation". It spreads a million different false stories, in the hope of making it impossible for us to determine which is the true one. Can you believe that there are "people" whose occupation consists of trying to prevent the public from determining the truth? They probably revere Joseph Goebbels - as I recall, the 5'-4", clubbed foot, A-hole, who had his 6 young children poisoned.)

They need the satisfaction of publicly mocking us, and demonstrating their disdain for us, in advance of the execution of their plans?

That satisfaction is magnified, by their belief that we are too stupid to decode their intentions, which they make plain for all who are perceptive enough to see?

You can hide all kinds of things in art, right?

If details are questioned, you can always say, "It's just art, you have an over-active imagination.", correct?

And afterward, you can have a good laugh at the, "sub-human slugs".

To summarize, they get satisfaction from bragging "out loud" to each other, about what they are going to do to us.

You see exactly the same behavior, by bullies in the schoolyard.

(When growing up, we are taught to treat others as we would like to be treated, to not be bullies. Most of us try to follow those teachings, because, we have an innate sympathy for other life. Others lack that sympathy, and are convinced that we must be delusional, because, we feel something that is totally abstract to them, that they have zero experiential knowledge of, sympathy.)

All of it together (about the Denver International Airport), is just too much.

It was built with US taxpayer money, and yet, most of it (the underground levels) is off-limits to US taxpayers.

And, if, as a taxpayer you inquire what the purposes of the hidden parts are, you will be met with silence.

You can see it over and over in the US.

Large land areas surrounded by chain link fences and razor wire.

Warnings that lethal force will be used against trespassers.

It means they, "do what they want to do, when they want to do it". They like to take risks. They don't think about possible negative consequences for their actions. They lack prudence, the ability to restrain themselves. In that way, they are like small children.

We all come in contact with psychopaths, whether or not we recognize them.

There are some characteristics of them I have personally noticed.

Of course, one is their, "superficial charm", charisma - in my opinion, this is usually easy to see through.

Another is their impulsiveness. It seems they are close to being incapable of delaying gratification. An extreme example might be of a psychopath who wants sex. If there is no consenting partner immediately available, he may find a partner who does not consent.

Another is from, "Factor 1",

6) Emotionally shallow

This is also called, "shallow affect". It means the amplitudes of their emotional highs and lows, are smaller than for normal people. Sometimes, you can see it with murderers and child molesters, when they are on trial. As what they did is recounted, they sit there like stones. They don't have many, if any, feelings of embarrassment, guilt, shame, humiliation, sorrow, remorse. You can also see it when these people are found guilty, and sentenced. Again, whether they are sentenced to 300 years in prison, or to death, they appear unfazed. In other words, they don't feel much at all. I think this mainly explains, the items included in, "Factor 2 - Socially Deviant Lifestyle" - they do what they can to feel something, I guess, anything.

I think their impulsiveness and their lack of strong emotion, are two characteristics which it is very difficult for them to conceal.

I never had out of body either Dan. Have tried, but no luck.

Only in very recent years, the last 2 or 3... I have developed this strange thing. Where I swear I am awake, until I realize something impossible is going on... then I super push myself awake to see that I was indeed sleeping, only to see something bizarre again and super push for another awake. Talk about being confused. It really makes one wonder when they are asleep and when they are awake. If it wasn't for the very obvious strangeness that happened, I would swear I was awake. That is how real the transitions were. Never happened when I was younger even though I used to have very creative colorful dreams then.

I also had the most wonderful dreams the last 2 days. Yesterday I was playing with a live Elephant that was about a foot tall and fully grown. It was so much fun to play with and it loved being tickled :)

Last nights dream was the best. I wish I were a writer to make it into a book. But it all came down after a very long and wondrous adventure that I discovered that those light orb ufo's are craft observing us by our makers... the makers are robots. Robots evolved and explored the universe. They saw that always one biological species on any planet would become dominant. By observing millions of such planets they realized that to reach the next level beyond what they could do they took the best they had seen and made us. Now talk about a twist, I didn't want to wake up with from that dream.

About Denver Airport, very strange indeed. I watched the episode where Gov. Jesse Ventura, ex Navy Seal, Pro Wrestler and Action Movie Star went out there. Just like the folding the 20 dollar bill and seeing the world trade center being destroyed. These guys like to openly display what they are going to do and do it, it gets them off from what you hear. It shows the absolute power they have over us.

I saw the $20 dollar thing on youtube and tried it out. It is amazing. You see the towers, you see the corresponding airlines names that hit each tower, United and America(n). Then you also see the pentagon hit on the other side.

There are so many reports of secret underground American facilities being exploded by nuclear devices, from so many sources, that, it seems to me, the facilities must exist, and, they must in fact be being detonated.

So, assuming that is the case, I can only conclude there is a hidden civil war currently being fought in the United States.

(But, nothing makes sense. For instance, why would any Republicans be campaigning for president, if they knew there was a good chance there would be no 2012 presidential election - due to a civil war and its consequences? Could they possibly be ignorant too? It's like, The Twilight Zone. Simultaneously, there are completely contradicting versions of reality - which, if any, is the true one?)

Meanwhile, Obama publicly acts as if everything is normal.

My intuition is that, he is one of the bad guys - otherwise, why wouldn't he inform the public about what is happening?

(And, to me, it's interesting, the average American remains totally ignorant, waving the flag, fixated on professional sports, technological toys, celebrities, and reality TV. I feel like I am on a sinking ship, and all of the other occupants are brainless mannequins, happily partying, without a care.)

It absolutely does seem clear to me, that, before long, "the other shoe will fall", and the totally corrupt/criminal world economic system, will spectacularly implode (I guess, like WTC1 and WTC2). (Of course, I may be wrong - hopefully.)

(According to some of the articles, the secret underground tunnel system connects the entire United States, "from sea to shining sea". Can you imagine the cost? And, how was it paid for? Maybe, that is part of the reason why Obama is silent, how could he explain the decades long deception? If there is a way for the radioactive dust to reach the surface, it will.

And, it depends if enough reaches the surface to travel through the atmosphere and set off detectors.

I think the reason they do underground nuclear bomb testing, is to prevent radiation from getting into the atmosphere.
