Did anyone else watch it here (http://www.buildwindows.com) earlier today? I did & was completely blown-away, apart from showing the new OS they also showed a preview version of Visual Studio 2011 which you can use to develop apps in languages such-as JavaScript & HTML.The new laptops that they were using looked excellent too.

i am thinking to download the preview edition , its size for the 32-bit is iso image 2.8 GB , for 64-bit 3.6 gb, with developer tools 4.8 gb, i will install it on an old computer since its requirements are just 1Ghz cpu , 1 gigabyte ram for 32-bit.

i want to know how much it is compatible with windows xp, win98.

I watched it today, still have to arrange everything in my head :)
The ultra thin PCs looked great, the look inside one of them was very interesting (just a tiny chocolate bar sized "motherboard").
Zak, please let us know your experience with it!

I'm still staggered by how fast & responsive everything was & the clean-looking interface. I don't think I'm going to try the Preview as my Hardware isn't that good, so it looks like I'm going to have to start saving for a new computer again. Apparently the battery inside that Laptop was about twice as big as the Motherboard, so there's still room to make them smaller.
