View Full Version : Can't post to the forum from a tablet
Is anyone else having problems posting to the thinBasic forums from a tablet. I can read and surf just fine. But when I go to post, it takes me to the input screen, but what I type does not show up. As a reference note, I was able to post on the OxygenBasic forums just fine from the android tablet.

I am sorry to hear about your problems, but congratulations on new tablet :) Which model did you picked?
Could you try different browser on Android maybe?

I think the problem resides not into the tablet but into the browser (type and version). Can you please let me know what browser and version do you have into your tablet so I can check in vBulletin forum support area?
This forum uses an advanced web editor that uses many feature rich options while Oxygenbasic uses SMF 1.x (like thinBasic was used to use) that is an old forum software.
You can change the kind of editor you want to use going into your profile under sub menu "Forum actions\General settings".
In there change the voice "Message editor interface" from "Enhanced ..." to something else.

@Pete, thanks. I got the Asus Transformer, but only the tablet part... not the additional keyboard. It is good for using in bed before sleeping. A netbook is still much nicer for real use and much better value.
