3D city maps: Ovi Maps 3D

Hi,

I just recently discovered very nice web application, showing 3D model of big cities online, right in the browser. It needs you to install realtively tiny plugin, and then you can fly over cities, zoom in and out... Even trees appear in 3D form (kind of green bulb, only the part with leafs visible).

The look is not geometrically perfect, it is more like model from paper, slightly damaged, but still very impressive.

It doesnt work on my work computer it just shows a blank screen and sometimes the landmarks as text but I will see what happens at home later.

A little bit slow in reacting picture details due to heavy data download but for sure fascinating and possibly will let other players (Google, Microsoft) to push again quality of their respective products for the joy of all of us.
