In order to restart development activity (yes, I hope I will be able to restart it very soon) I've added a new way of reporting bugs and request new features.

On top menu you will find a new item called "Support" that brings into a new forum area.

Support area is organized by so called Projects. Going into each of them you can post bug reports and/or ask for features requests.
So far I've created thinBasic and thinAir projects but it is very easy to create new one so if you need a new thinBasic related Project (a module for example) to be supported by this new feature just let me know.

Each post will be classified by many items (priority, category, version, ... I'm still finishing to setup them). After posting you will be able to attach files and add comments.

Each change (for example in issue status) will be logged so it will be very transparent.

I still have to find a way to move current Bugs and Feature requests forum posts into this new area. I'm not sure I will be able. Last option will be to manually copy/paste current open issues.

Thanks a lot Eros,

this is very good tool to have. If you will need assistance with "copy/paste", let me know, I will be happy to help on this.

So far seems nice.

I'm still investigating about the possibility to import from current bug forum so for the moment option is still open. I will let you know.

I've already created in main forum a link to support area.

Let me know about TBGL project if you want a support area.

Ciao

Hi Eros,

if it would be possible, I would like to have TBGL section there as well, it should help us track the issues more easily than current forum system.

I found the way to migrate current bug report posts into Support area but I get an SQL statement error. Current posts can be migrated (see ported example in thinBasic support area) but finalization is not closed due to SQL error.

I already identified the problem (there is a comma in an SQL statement that should not be there). I will investigate further and post issue to vBulletin people that are supporting this mod.

Will let you know.

In the meatime I will create a new support project for TBGL

Ok, to move a bug report into support area do the following:

open the thread in old bug forum
use thread menu "Administrative" (just above first post) and choose "create issue" (maybe you cannot, in this case I think is just an authorization to set)
follow options step by step (2 steps)
at the end original post will be closed and linked to the one in support area

If all ok, when all posts will be migrated, I will hide old bug and feature requests forums

Let me know.

Hi Eros,

I think I just managed to move first bug report successfully.

Perfect,

It seems you have also fixed them :)

Petr Schreiber

Yes,

the closed threads were fixed issues.
But I have currently problems in porting this thread to issue, it complains about text too short...:

Try to edit first post of the thread

No luck,

it is cursed
Well, this specific post is little special, the original "problem" is caused by user not reading the documentation and the second one is already present in other report.

I will try from here

OK, moved.
Problem was second post in which Michael just replied inside a quoted text
A post with just a quoted text is seen as zero length message.

I just added the line "See my comments in red." at the beginning

Let me know when done so I will hide current TBGL bug forum and TBGL Feature requests.

I've already done for thinBasic bug report. I will continue with feature requests and than for thinAir

TBGL Bug forum can be made hidden for now.

TBGL Suggest new features should stay visible for now, as I am terribly hungry :p, so I am going to get some food and then I will jump on it.

Some feature requests are done in the not ideal way of suggesting multiple things at once - I will let those threads to disappear and will recreate them as separate posts, otherwise I would get lost in it.
