If you can't believe the U.S. government about what happened to JFK, then, how can you believe it about anything, including 9/11?

One thing I have learned in my life is to no pay attention to conspiracy theories.
Dan, if I remember correctly you, like me, don't have a tv or watch. I guess last weeks Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura was going to have new information and a death bed confession by one of the Hunt brothers to his son.
I have not been able to find that episode on you tube yet, have you heard anything more on that?

Hi Kent.
I don't watch any TV at home. There is no TV in my house. I have two 8' x 8' x 40' cargo containers in the back yard. I know there is at least one TV in one of them. I see some TV when I visit my wife at the nursing home.
Last night on Coast-To-Coast, Ed Haslam (author of Dr. Mary's Monkey) mentioned the Jesses Ventura episode.
If you Google or Yahoo "e howard hunt confession", you can find lots of links.
Below, I will put some.
It might be too late for you to read this in time, but tonight on Coast-To-Coast, the entire 4 hours will be devoted to the JFK assassination. There will be a different guest during each hour. I think that none of them believe the official story.

Thanks Dan. I got to listen to the FBI agent hour on Coast to Coast. All I can say is he went beyond any doubt that there was a cover-up and on purpose very very poor investigation guidance by higher ups in the FBI. I applaud his candor and bravery in speaking out. I felt bad for him when he saw what was going on and having his ideals crushed in front of his eyes.

I heard him too, Kent.
He's retired now, so, there's really nothing they can do to him.
You could tell that even after all these years, he's still really angry about the whole thing.
Some think the federal government got away with killing the 35th president and blaming a lone gunman, Lee Harvey Oswald. But, at best, those people are misguided, correct? The federal government is honest, and we should believe it about JFK, and when it tells us that Osama bin Laden was the perpetrator of 9/11, yes? Only a simpleton, a fool, or a traitor, would seriously consider any conspiracy theory. Automatically, truth is whatever our government and the mainstream media proclaim it to be, correct? If you challenge what they say, you will be ostracized from the herd, and, what could be worse than that?! Is truth worth being treated like a leper?! Nothing is worth that! Good citizens are polite, smile, and, walk on the sidewalk. No one likes a troublemaker. No one likes a rabble-rouser!!
Sure, in the past governments have perpetuated "false flag" operations - attacks on their own people, which they blamed on whomever they wanted to demonize, whomever they wanted to attack. But, you can't really blame the governments, can you? How can you expect them to be able to start wars, unless they can first motivate the people to hate the enemy, right?
And sure, in the past, governments have scapegoated vulnerable minorities for national economic suffering. For instance, after World War I, Hitler blamed the Jew bankers for Germany's decimated economy.
But, this is not just any country, and this is not just any government. This is the United States - the land of the free, and the home of the brave. When our government withholds information about the JFK assassination, and about 9/11, we should be satisfied that it is doing so for our own good. Certainly, our authorities know better than we do, what information we are capable of contemplating, of properly understanding. Our government protects us, just like our parents did when we were small. When we were little, our parents would read us a fairytale at bedtime, and we would fall asleep into pleasant dreams. Now, before going to sleep, we should read about how our government has protected us from the evil men Lee Harvey Oswald, and Osama bin Laden. And then we will travel to dreamland, knowing we are safe and secure.
God bless America
Land that I love
Stand beside her
And guide her
Through the night
With the light
From above
From the mountains
To the prairies
To the oceans
Bright with foam
God bless America
My home sweet home
God bless America
My home sweet home..
(And anyway, isn't it better to believe a pleasant simple lie, than an awful complex truth?!?!!)
Well said Dan. It definitely goes back to before Dwight D. Eisenhower, because by the end of his presidency he gave that very telling farewell speech that seemed so out of place for the United States back then... but so telling for the way it is even more so today.

I think by the time Eisenhower made that speech, it was already too late. I think that Eisenhower was probably the last president who had control of the country. And, as he left, he warned about what was to come. Today, no one becomes the Democratic or Republican candidate, unless he has been approved by the bankers, the military, and the corporations. And because the only way to win a presidential election, is with a staggering amount of money, the possibility of a third party win, is close to zero. So, the bankers, military, and corporations, run the country. As we are seeing, America is regressing in almost every category - standard of living, employment, life span, access to medical care, education, upward mobility, etc. The wealthy elite hide behind the curtain and do what they can to cause Democrats to blame Republicans, and vice versa. That way, the real thieves can keep stealing in the shadows. Neither the bankers, military, or corporations, care at all about the fate of the vast majority of American citizens. And as they foment hatred between Americans, they fill the media with propaganda promoting a society based on materialism and entertainment. They promote a society in which people grow up learning to always be trying either to get as much as they can for themselves, or entertaining themselves, and not to care about anyone or anything else (it's much easier to control uninformed isolated individuals than knowledgeable organized groups). We have a country filled with ignorant people who are constantly focused on new technological gadgets, who almost seem to be hypnotized, and whose idea of current events, is the latest news about what happened on "Dancing with the Stars". The American people have been neutered, and very few of them have the vaguest notion about it. The damage that a tiny minority filled with insatiable greed and power lust, has done, is amazing. And this minority, seems immune to just consequences. If a person has half a mind and uses it, then, it is easy to see what is happening, like watching a slow motion train wreck. But, that person could shout from the rooftops, and very few of the dimwitted populace, would have the slightest understanding of, or care about, what he said. As soon as this country was formed, approximately 234 years ago, the "termite" infestation began. Today, the entire structure is rotten, waiting for the slightest breeze to initiate collapse. And, I wonder how much of Europe is experiencing exactly the same thing.
And one more thing, concerning technology. Have you noticed that there is a subset of people which is infatuated with technology, not as a means to an end, but, as an end in itself? In other words, for those people, what makes life worth living, is the newest technology. They chase the newest technology, like a mouse on a wheel. Do you think that such an orientation, is an indicator of a primitive mind?
:p

I'm starting to feel that the silent majority is starting to wake up Dan and feel better about the future. The reaction to those pat downs and full body scanners I think has crossed a line that just runs against the American DNA.
We don't get our say on main stream media, but on talk radio and web forums the voices of those saying enough is enough is coming up in volume.
We just need a leader who offers those who want a life that does not follow our constitution the door out. There are countries in the world to fit any form of government one would want from Anarchy like in Somalia, to all forms of Socialism and Communism and even Monarchies. Leave the USA as the place for freedom lovers to come to from all over the world.
But we know that this simple logical solution is not in the plans, as one world government wants no option. No options, they know best. They dictate we follow the marching orders.
But well over a hundred million Americans won't go down without fighting and I am sure you can add probably a Billion people from the rest of the world too who would put up a fight, so we are and will not be slaves as easy they hope.
Unless the chemtrails, vaccines and food additives have targeting agents for mass extermination with some sort of simple triggering agent waiting to be set off. Nah... that can't be?

I think that people everywhere, have a sense of what is fair, and what is not. For instance, when the top 1% in this country live in extravagant insulated luxury, sending all but service jobs overseas, while the bottom 90% live from paycheck to paycheck, and constantly worry that their paychecks will stop coming, most people become really angry. In this country, there are many many similar examples. Now, this country is going toward a society in which there is a tiny class of elites, similar to an aristocracy, and, a huge class of everyone else, similar to peasants. There is a social regression. And, you can see the same thing happening in Europe, under the flag of, "the new austerity" (it seems to me that there, most people don't care, as long as, and until, they are personally affected - then, what was, "necessary" pain, becomes, outrageous injustice, correct?). Basic social services are eliminated for those at the bottom, to pay for the excesses of those at the top. In my opinion, those at the bottom, who see their lives constantly becoming harder, will not quietly and politely starve to death, to please their "betters". (And, you notice how easy it is for a politician to call suffering, "necessary", when it does not affect him or his family, yes? What kind of of a dumbbell would believe one word from a politician who is riding around in a limousine, as he slashes social programs for the poor?)
Here is a quote from Frederick Douglass, a former slave and American abolitionist.
“Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have the exact measure of the injustice and wrong which will be imposed on them.”
That absolutely says it, in my opinion. The bankers and the corporations will continue stealing, and the military will continue starting wars and spending like it has a limitless charge card, until, the people organize and force them to stop. If the people continue to act like sheep, the bankers, corporations, and military, will happily bleed the people to death. (And, notice that according to the Constitution, only Congress has the power to declare war. I'm just wondering, did Congress declare war on Iraq and Afghanistan? And, don't forget, for the bankers and corporations, war means profit. So, for them, any war on foreign soil which the United States is involved in, is a good, just, and righteous war - a war that God approves of.)
I agree that right now, the Internet is uncensored, and people are able to freely broadcast the truth. If it remains that way, then, that is a huge impediment to the plans of the elites. Formerly, the elites could filter information before it got to the people, and now, they cannot. Today, as the people can see that the mainstream media is broadcasting propaganda for the status quo (which the mainstream media does, because, it is part of the status quo), it becomes more and more irrelevant. People realize that the media will say whatever works best to sedate them and make them easily controllable. So, the people with brains, go around the mainstream media, and get their information on the Internet from like minded people. Of course, the constant danger is that the elites will keep doing whatever they can to shut down Internet freedom. It's much much easier to commit crimes, if the victims are unaware, right? (Above, I realize that the word, "media", is plural, but using it as plural sounds stupid to me.)
Concerning a mass extermination, I don't see it happening. First, they would need a disease which would kill everyone. That's hard to make. There are a lot of problems associated with it. How do you make a disease which is extremely communicable, and 100% lethal? If it kills too fast, then, the transference is reduced. It would have to simultaneously be released all over the world. Quarantines would instantly appear. The elites would also need a vaccine for themselves. People would quickly realize that they were not affected. Unless the plan worked perfectly, those remaining would exact justice on the perpetrators. Additionally, the science in the secret government laboratories would have to be far ahead of public science (and, I don't think it is). Otherwise, public science would quickly be able to construct the same vaccine that the elites had.
Probably, the majority of people think that even speculating about the possibility of governments working to exterminate their own people, indicates mental illness. To me, such people have been robotized by propaganda, and, are also ignorant of history (they remind me of the Eloi in H.G. Wells, "The Time Machine" - absolute useless idiots). Part of the propaganda, is to stigmatize the person who does not trust the government, as being crazy. And, the last thing most robotized people want, is to be viewed by other "mannequins", as crazy. Why should I trust the (federal) government? The government sure doesn't trust me. If I want fly on a commercial jet, what do I have to go through first? It appears that I am not trusted. I am an American citizen, born in the United States. But, what will happen to me if I walk onto a "restricted" area of an American military base, within the United States? If the American government trusts me, then, why are documents "classified"? Apparently, some American citizens are more trustworthy than others. And, apparently, the initial assumption is always that a citizen is not trustworthy. In that case, I guess my initial assumption should be, that the government is not trustworthy. Fair is fair, right?
(By the way, American military bases are on public property, so, the land belongs to the public. But, as a member of the public, if you want to get a surprise, try exercising your "right" to explore this public land, as you wish.)
