Wow, doesn't it already seem like this forum is a lot better than the old one?

:p

I'm sad that ...

The SMF database and attachment features became broken.
That Eros has spent so much time on maintaining the forum with the little time he has to give and not on thinBasic.
That Eros had to pay for forum software and all updates to come.
I no longer use Windows as my primary desktop and my thinBasic use will have to end.

Yes Dan, I share the feeling :p

I think it was good move - the articles, the blogs, the working attachements...

John, during which time period did you actually used thinBasic? I don't want to offend you in any way, but all I remember from your posts were ScriptBASIC code snippets.
I remember you asking others how they use ThinBASIC, and me responding to your question. So may now I ask you how did you used TB and for which tasks? Just curious.

And don't be sad, this is beautiful autumn, just look at the tree colors...

You would be a perfect blogger ;)
Check Blogs functionality and see if you feel comfortable with it.

Do not be sad (especially for me !)
Just follow your passions with positive feeling, the rest will come (sooner or later).

Yes, I like already the blogs feature a lot. Some things are missing but I am sure we will see them in one way or another abck again here.

And like Eros said, the blog feature seems to be perfect for you.

Yes, they are nice. One thing everyone should experience one time in their life is the Indian Summer in New England. That is awesome: http://bit.ly/aIsjCG

To play around with Charles O2 thinBasic extension before it became standalone. I thought Charles embedding ScriptBasic into thinBasic was pretty cool.

It seems I'm going to be leaving OxygenBasic behind till Charles releases a Linux version of his compiler.
