View Full Version : message wide versus user info wide
hello
for every article the wide of the user info is too big about 30 chars, if it is narrower to make more wide space for the message will be better.
this is my opinion . the other forum features are excellent.
PS: in my opinion the powerbasic forum have a wider space for the messages while the user info are at the top of the message.

zak,
I too was thinking that area has too space but I didn't change because I do not know all details about what can be shown inside it and how to change it (I do not want to start changing defaults).
In any case I've just discovered that vBulletin has a great way to change forum styles. Every aspect can be handled by admin in admin panel. There are hundreds (maybe thousands) of options that can be setup for forum styles.
I have now changed parameter called "Postbitlegacy Userinfo Width" from 200 px to 160 px. Hope is enough.
Ciao
Eros

thanks

thinBasic forum is implemented using vBulletin CMS ( version 4.0.8 )
Power Basic forum is implemented using standard vBulletin forum ( version 3.8.1 )
They are 2 different products.
