many zip & rar files are corrupted

i have noticed that the zip and rar files downloaded from the forum are corrupted and can't be extracted, i have found that for rar files it can be repaired exactly using RAR Repair Tool from http://www.rar-repair-tool.com/
so it seems the body of the rar files are good.
regarding zip files the utility Alzip are able to extract the zip contents; yes it gives an error message but the extraction is good.

it is true, I think something went wrong when the recent problem with DB occurred.
