Hi Zak,

I remember when playing the game "Still Life" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Still_Life_%28video_game%29), I had to break through similar (bit simpler) lock during the game, while seeing this 2D cut.
Lock design is a big science :) Maybe breaking through locks could make nice little casual game on its own.
