Joshy,
to write thinBasic help material I use Help&Manual (http://www.ec-software.com/). It is not free and cost a lot but for me it is worth all the money. In case I can send an example file.
I know that Petr and Michael Hartlef use another application but not sure which one.
I'm sure they will reply about that

Hi,
we are using custom developed thinBASIC application for TBGL docs, which does generate the HTML for you, while keeping the info in separate TXT files, for easy editation and postprotcessing.
You can get it here:
KeywordDocumenter, optional tool to document module keywords (http://community.thinbasic.com/index.php?topic=3282.msg24576#msg24576)
It is definitely not as comfortable as Help'n'Manual, but it allows to keep the keyword documentation in HTML independent format, allowing (in theory) to create any HTML generator front end for it.

For the helpfiles for my TBAI und TBEM module, also for the thinAir help file and in the past with other projects I use HelpNDoc (http://www.helpndoc.com/).
I am very happy with it and it is free for non-commercial usage.
