Thanks for the inspiration Eros,

this is very interesting device. I am quite sure something similar could be assembled at home.

I think it is very nice idea for web presentations (swapping few images means much less work than with true 3D).
On the other side, if you would like to really digitalize some object (to get 3D mesh), this would not serve at all.
