Monkey Island for free

Hi,

if you played adventure games in early 90's, you probably remember classic Monkey Island - beautiful and entertaining game set in pirate environment.
Series are continued since this year again in episodic format. The good news is that it is possible to download first episode of new Monkey Island for free during special action just and only today:

It is very nice game, I can recommend it. Could serve as way to learn English, as it contains lot of dialog and inventory manipulation and the hardware requirements are very low.

They brought out a Special Edition (http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-GB/games/media/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d80258410995/?p=1&of=7&bt=0&sb=1) on Xbox Live a few months ago too.

I was thinking of getting it but didn't have enough disk space. :(

Too bad,

I have disc with the 256 color version of original and music in form of audio tracks.
The original game was in 16 colors I think, 256c edition looks beautiful even today :)

I tried to play the new free game, and it looks promising. On screenshots it does not look good, but once you see the animation it is all right. Dialog is well written and there is some nice work with camera, featuring even depth of field smartly used for dramatic effect.
